I need to know if you were real

‘Cause I’ve been known to get it wrong

When the memory comes

I’ll say I’m always in the dark

You got me now

I can’t remember how it went

You looked like everything I wanted

And as you came along

Slowly everything began to change

I got you now

That’s enough

Just talking about it

I don’t mind

I don’t mind no I

Laugh enough

Just dreaming about it

I need to know if you were real

I’d hate to think that I’d been fooled again

And as the vision fades

I’ll say I was blinded by your eyes

I felt them burn

Yet again some server problems. Hopefully everything is fixed and alive for some time.

Soon I’ll be revamping this site completely, once I get internet and my computer powered up. (Laptops don’t work with out power supply, who would of known??) With the revamp I’ll probably have two blogs. Daily Drabble, and Bike Beatings. Kris finally replaced her stolen digital camera, and my awesome mother said she would get me one off gateway.com (any suggestions??) The gallery because of this will be alittle bit more interesting. What else … oh I’ll have an Ipod section.

An update about our “century” this weekend. We did a quarter of one, I think Kris would of died if we went even 2 miles further. It was good, I think we’ll aim for 30 this weekend.

It’s ALIVE!!

Finally I have website. The server was being backed up, and the people in Germany or Russia or wherever it is were being VERY LAZY. I shouldn’t complain, I get hosting for free.

Riding has picked up, farmers tan has already started. YeeeHA! I’m excited, and riding is making me happy. It’s one of the few times in life that I’m content with everything. Always has been like that.

This weekend Kris and I are riding a century, or part of one atleast. Kris longest time on the bike is 15 miles or so. I dont know how much she can go with out getting too bored. It should be fun, and it also will bring in some better views of Outspokin in the community.

Ended up going to a Carolina Cyclers meeting last night. It’s a local group that holds weekly rides, and is basically a place where people with a common love can come together to do something with it. The food was good, and the topics they bruoght up were also. I felt odd, being 15 years younger than anyone else there. I guess that’s what it takes though. I’m hoping after last night to get more involved, once I figure out how I’ll let ya’ll know.

Riding was good this past weekend, grueling on my knees, but hopefully a fit with the boss man tomorrow will fix all those problems.

Riding yesterday was short, yet very interesting. Susan Boyle, rich “Trophy Wife” as she calls herself. Rides a zebra striped E5 Specialized frame, with matching helmet and shoes. While I am on my “Bling Bling” bike, my gold orbea. The ride started off at Columbia College, which happens to be a very expensive school in a very poor neighborhood. Riding down the first street we pass some people sitting on the front porch of their house.. one yells “Holy shit.” Three or four children see what they yelled that for and starts clapping and cheering for us.

My mouth dropped, I didn’t know what was happening. These people are clapping and two chicks riding along on their road bikes. What is wrong with these people?

Than I realized it. This is todays society. My bike alone probably cost more than their daddy’s car. Made me feel little at that moment, yet I was the one they were cheering for.

Many changes have come across this site in the past few days. Couldn’t decide on a design, but I believe this one is here to stay for a little while. Didn’t ride in yesterday because of the cold, wetness. I fear because I was sick for almost two weeks that cold rain might bring that sickness back again. (Things that are bad, being sick)

Today is St Patties day, so I think I’m going to go for a ride with Susan Boyle, and then start drinking some Bud and Woodchuck. Good combo, not. But it taste good. hehe.

Riding was good these past couple days. Kris rode her Bianchi for a real road ride yesterday. About 15 miles. I think she enjoyed it (I think) The Boyles, a loyal couple of Outspokin, showed us around Fort Jackson.

Fort Jackson is the local Army base, great riding with little traffic. The roads aren’t the best, but it is the price you pay for no traffic, and long non-interrupted rides. There are many “loops” at the Fort, easy ones, flat long ones, ones with hills, and ones that loop back into the others. Whatever you are looking for, the Fort has it. There have been two accidents since I moved down here on the Fort, but how much traffic it gets from cyclists.. that’s not a bad number at all.

This morning my ride in was good, once I get my panniers on it will be alot more fun. I’ll be able to take more time and tool around on some of the trails. The bag is killing me, I’m hoping to cut off weight once daylight savings comes about. No batteries or lights to carry on the bike.

Stock picture of my Kelly Knobby-X, I’ll get a pic of it built up sometimes this week. Been riding it too much to have time to take pix.

Where am I?
