Mucho gracias for bringing the return of the postings. I can now enter more fully into the fun of Shaken, Not Stirred.

I borrowed your woman on Saturday for lunch. She entertained me with stories about you. I felt less stalkerish hearing about you firsthand rather than my blogger-stalking status. But perhaps J will introduce me to you sometime in the future to completely eliminate this stalker vibe.

I don't know how I really persuaded you to bring the comments back.

I wholeheartedly agree with your admonishment: "Now, I will remove them if certain people don't keep it in their pants."

If the jury will note that I've stated for the record on "In the end there's always laughter" Re: "She had no pants on!" that I have OOCN issues with people not in pants, et al.

So, if these postings result in anyone taking anything out of their pants, it'll be totally counter-productive for me altogether. And I'll probably lapse into some sort of coma.

Though, I suppose Ali and any other Self-Proclaimed Naked People could theorhetically "take it out of their pants" because it's in their nature and science tells us environment is as important as genetics/nurturing...

But...

I'll have to avoid those posts at all costs. Which I think is possible.

Oh, Arleigh, serious question. Which as you'll come to see, is not a frequent occasion with me, but tonight, I have one.

I am thinking of buying a bike. And I hear you are a bike person. I am an ameteur and plan to remain one. But I think I want to start riding a bike around in the summer. I would like something I could ride around a city and/or a park or something. This guy told me I should get a 'hybrid.' I thought he meant a car and I was like, "Back off, just bc my car's 21 years old doesn't mean I need a new car, environmentally friendly or not!"

Then he reminded me he was talking about bikes and that I was the one who asked him.

I apologized and he told me the hybrid is the way to go...

Part two of serious question:

I am sort of poor and don't want to spend a lot of money.

Soooooooo....

Any thoughts on a brand/type of bike that's rather inexpensive that I should look into?

I believe my last bike had a banana seat, with a frog on it and the entire bike was hot pink.

So, as you can see, any advice is good advice to me.

How's this for an introductory post?
