April Showers

I’m easily discouraged. I wanted to ride in today. I even woke up at 7:30am, which honestly is the hardest task for me riding in. Once I’m up though, I easily find motivation to ride.

Not today.

I don’t get outta work till 8pm.
Left BOTH my sets of lights at the other apartment.

I left my favorite bright yellow Gill rain jacket also at the other apartment.

Call me a sucker. But riding in the rain without proper rain gear leaves for a soggy Arleigh. Riding at night without proper lights is plain crazy.

It’s 7:40am, and I have relatively nothing to do for two hours till I leave for work.

Yes I’ve been a busy bee. A big one at that. Moving, working and sleeping when I get the chance makes me one entertained fellar. Haven’t been riding too much. I keep trying to will myself into waking up early to ride, or even commute in. I can’t muster myself out of bed (or off the floor in my case.)

Working 6 days a week still. I’ve gotten used to it actually. Living much closer to the shop so I can get home at a reasonable time.

Other than that nothing too much to report.

Seeing Ani this Friday with Jeannie.
Jeannie is going to be up for a week (exciting!)

Kelly is still in parts waiting for hub cones to come in. Which means if I commute I’m riding the C’dale. Not the best geometry to lug a pack on your back.

L Word Recap II

Finally got to catch up with all the L Words I’ve been missing.
I won’t lie I fast forwarded a bunch.

Tina and Bette having sex was hot. The Peabody girl and Tina having sex, not hot.

Jenny is getting back on my nerves. Also all the personal lectures with her prof, what’s up with that? She paying an extra something something under the table? I mean umm..

Carmen’s love speech to Shane – classic. Everyone dogging on Shane about living her life, careers, relationships, and love. Give the girl a break. She has more class then most on that show, and she atleast has a great sex life.

Ivan coming back in for a couple scenes. Ruined that character for me.

Dana. Strap ons. Oh my.

Don’t think I’ll fret about not seeing the rest of the season, I’ll rent the DVD after it is all said and done.

Oh yeh..

Road Trip

Drove to Jersey after work last night. Work has just simply taken over my every thought. Including dreams. The only thing that could of helped me was the glorious gf. I had to take myself from the normal day to day setting of home/work/home/work. I do love my job so please no one take that personally. I’ve just gotten so ingrossed with everything, getting wrapped up in daily crap and customers. I’ve woken up having dreams about it all.

So I drove, the weather was nice – had my windows down most of the way. Grab some McDonalds, ignoring how unhealthy the damn chicken nuggets are, and got there around 11’sh.

Exhausted.

The gf was great, dealing with my mindless banter in the middle of the night. Exhausting dreams cause me to talk randomly in my sleep.

Here’s to sleeping on my day off!!

Gotta do some laundry..

4 Days of Hell

Saturday and Sundays are known to be busy. And so are holidays, but I was perpared for the last 3 days. Just a solid flow of the craziest loons in the area.

Not eating till 5pm everyday, and just cranky people are killing me.

God when will I be able to ride?
