Dirt Rags new issue is out. Go buy it, it’s worth every penny. I even paid cash for mine it was that good. I normally just read one at work through out the month.
There’s SSWC, riding the Great Divide, something about a turtle, great reviews on the Cannondale Prophet and new Raleigh Rush. Oh and a great picture of a plaid skirt from the lovely Jersey City.

While scheduling my ride for this morning there was a slight fear of the fact that it was supposed to be freezing cold. 40 degrees actually.
Last night the weather man changed his ideas. It ended up being around 60 degrees and perfect. Didn’t churn out too many miles, but that’s not what I am worried about right now. 45 mins a morning on the bike is my goal. 4-5 times a week.
If you haven’t noticed by the crappy posts my mind has been somewhat out of it. Working too much for the past few weeks and not getting enough alone time. Infact I had 3 hours riding time because of it until this past week. Trying to re-priortize, make my work week less than equal to 40 and enjoy a low key life style.
As I stated I’m starting to train with CTS the beginning of October. I’m excited to see what proper consistent training can bring me. I hope to be doing some 24 hour races, and maybe an off road 100miler.
With the training/racing I also plan on focusing more on growing the base for women riders in my area, and hopefully also spend some time on trail work this fall with MORE. The big step for women is a weekly clinic & indoor ride on Monday nights at the Crofton Bike Doctor shop. More info to come for it. Sooner than later since it starts on Monday.

I really don’t have too much to talk about.
Traveled to Philly and then NJ being supportive as the gf was riding the MS150. The ride ended nicely. Jeannie did very well, and I caught up on some sleep that was much needed.
Riding has been upped lately. A new riding partner, and plans to start CTS the end of the month.
Haven’t had too much time to do anything but sleep, ride, work and catch up on some things around the house.
Sorry I’m a bit lame. But if you want to catch a ride let me know because that’s all I have time for it seems.

The weekend has come and gone.
MS150 was completed by all. Only a few sore muscles and a rough butt.
Riding is going well…
Riding partners are helping a ton.

Riding has been sparatic. Monday, Wednesday and then tomorrow – who knows maybe even Friday.
I’ll be out of town again this weekend for the MS-150. Hopefully I might get some riding in while Jeannie is riding her 75 miles a day.
Sorry for stupid updates. Once I get the Polar HRM hooked back up I can give you more stats and all those good things.

Trash talking that is.
Eurobike show photos are all over the net. Cyclingnews.com has some of the best spectrum. Looks like we are going back in time.

Better steel bikes. Panel colored bikes. Wool jerseys. Brooks saddles. BB’s in colors. Lance coming back.
The industry is in a whirl wind. Can’t wait to see what happens at interbike.
I’ll be off the net until Monday evening. Work Friday and Saturday. As I said commuting in and out tomorrow, and hopefully I’ll be riding before work on Saturday.
Then the drive to PA where I plan on riding Sunday morning.
Tally-ho.

It’s become pretty rare to actually have my Thursday to do nothing.
I’m milking it.
After yesterday feeling like my brains were being pulled out. I sat in bed most the day talking to the gf online. Eating homemade lasagna and reading randomness.
I’m finally up and showered at 3pm. Going to take the two main bikes to the shop to do a little bit of tweaks to them. The road bike needs some love, and the Surly has some rear brake issues.
Tomorrow the plan is to ride 30 into work, and then the standard 15 home.
No use in using the car tomorrow if I don’t need to. Gas being how it is, and drivers being worse than their norm.
Don’t believe I’ll get another ride in at Rosaryville until next week. Anyone up for a Tuesday night ride?
