Low 40's and winds up to 20mph. What the hell am I doing out on the road at 1:30pm. Self abuse. Roadie miles. Riding the white line and trying not to get blown over. Amazing how stiff you get after a cold ride. Amazing how wonderful knee warmers are. Amazing how well the road bike plays the part of a cross bike. Amazing.Riding roadie miles. Riding tires until they fray apart. Riding through mud and corn fields. Riding through western North Carolina. Two more days up here & then I shall return home for a little while longer. Savannah is on the radar this weekend. Leaving Saturday & returning Sunday. Edie Carey. Road trip with the girl and pup. Sing-a-longs. Smooches by the water. Amazing.
